WILLIAM Kulovitz - Pilot
I started my aviation career in 2012 with the United States Marine Corps as a CH53 engine mechanic. After a 5 year service, I began flight training in 2017 in Cedar City, Utah with SUU Aviation. My last semester of school in 2019 I was hired on as a instructor pilot, taught flight instruction for all of the certifications regarding helicopters and was then promoted to Check pilot and put in charge of evaluating our instructors and students in the program. Along with flight instruction I also taught flying with night vision goggles, mountainous terrain, external load with long line, and was deputized with the sheriff's office to help with air operations. Later in 2021 HeloAir offered me a spot among their team as the Base Manager of their South Carolina location conducting powerline/pipeline patrols. I knew early on in my flying career that utility work was the path I wanted to pursue, and I am very excited to begin this chapter with HeloAir.
