Drayton Shealy

My name is Drayton Shealy. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of South Carolina. I am proud to be a South Carolinian.

My passion for understanding how things work led me to take helicopter flight lessons, where I quickly discovered my true calling. I channeled my enthusiasm by joining the Richland County Sheriff's Department Aviation Unit (RCSD), where I have honed my helicopter skills. Upon retiring from the RCSD Aviation Unit, I transitioned to HeloAir.

In addition to flying helicopters, I enjoy being on Lake Murray boating, fishing, or kayaking with family and friends. My wife and I also enjoy biking together on the many bike trails South Carolina has to offer.

As I embark on a new journey with HeloAir, I am honored to be part of a team of like-minded individuals who share my love of helicopters and the vital work we do. Working with the HeloAir family, I know that I will continue to make a difference in the lives of South Carolinians, and I am eager to see what the future holds.
