I started flying airplanes over the summer months between finishing high school and starting college, but always thought helicopters looked like they would be much more exciting and so, after completing my college degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics, I went for my first helicopter flight and was hooked.
I began my helicopter career in 1992 in San Diego and have since flown a variety of tasks, from Executive Charter to Fire-Fighting and Aerial Photography to Powerline Patrol. I have over 8000 hours in helicopters and have been through the Bell Factory Training Courses for the JetRanger, 407 and 427 as well as Flight Safety's Training Course for the Sikorsky S76D. I joined the HeloAir team in 1999 and I can't imagine doing anything else for a living; I have too much fun doing what I do.
