Devin Whiting

Devin was born and raised in Utah. At the age of 20, he joined the US Army as a network administrator. During his eight years of service Devin gained an appreciation and fascination with helicopters. After several unsuccessful attempts to further his Army career in different specialties and sustaining multiple personal injuries he resolved to continue his career outside of the armed forces. He started flight school at Southern Utah University in January of 2019. Devin completed his pilot certificates in 2020 and his bachelor's degree in 2021. He is continuing his educational pursuits by working towards a master's degree in business administration. Prior to joining the HeloAir team, he flew in support of Taiwanese offshore operations in Oceania, powerline inspections in the Northeast United States, and New York City tours. After traveling and working across the globe, Devin has returned to Utah where he and his wife live. He finds joy in being outside and if he has the choice will only be indoors when planning his next mountain adventure. His hobbies include downhill mountain biking, rock, ice, and alpine climbing, whitewater kayaking and rafting, telemark skiing, canyoneering, and tending to his honey bees. He is excited for what the future holds and is thrilled to be a part of the HeloAir team.
