John Ruhl

I am a Pilot as of September of this year, will have flown the last 55 years! Was drafted in 1970 for active duty service and while intro at boot camp they were looking for people interested in flying helicopters in theU.S. Army Warrant Officer Flight Candidate School Program and the rest is History! After flight school I was sent to the Republic of Vietnam where I was stationed for a year and in March of 1972 sent home and spent till June 1976 playing Army games at Fort Lewis, Washington, until I got out and started my civilian career! I have flown helicopters all over the lower 48 states, as well as Alaska and Mexico! My present job with HeloAir is setting woods on fire so that they can be managed properly so as not to cause uncontrolled wildfires when man or mother nature catches them on fire. Looking forward to working at HeloAir for as long as I can!
